ACTOR, WRITER, DIRECTOR

Soojeong is a Korean-American creator of comedy stuff and sometimes serious stuff. As a writer, she served as Executive Story Editor for the Netflix action-comedy series, THE BROTHERS SUN. Her stories are personal, funny, and stupid, and have sold to Max, Netflix, and Showtime.

As an actor, you can see her in A GOOD PERSON, Netflix KALEIDOSCOPE, Apple TV+ SERVANT, and Max SEARCH PARTY. She is the host of the upcoming K-pop competition show, KPOPPED for Apple TV+. As a comedian, SJ has peformed her one-woman clown show CUM at Ars Nova theater and comedy theaters throughout NYC.

Soojeong has has written and directed award-winning films and viral shorts including SOOJUNG DREAMS OF FIJI (Audience Award Asian American International Film Fesitval), GHOST (Official Selection Just For Laughs), and F*CKING JAPANESE (Vulture critic’s pick, Best Comedy Short Cinekink Festival). Soojeong is a member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective and has been supported by Yaddo and The Foundation House. She’s based in Brooklyn, NY.
