Soojeong is beautiful, interesting, and well-rested like a juicy steak. Most recently she was a writer for the Netflix comedy series, THE BROTHERS SUN. Her stories are vulnerable, funny, and idiotic.

You can see her act naturally in A GOOD PERSON opposite queen Florence Pugh, Netflix KALEIDOSCOPE, Apple TV+ SERVANT, and Max SEARCH PARTY. She is the host of K-pop competition show, KPOPPED for Apple TV+. As a comedian, SJ has peformed her solo show CUM at Ars Nova and comedy theaters in NYC.

Soojeong has written and directed award-winning films and sketch series including CECILIA IS ONLY EIGHT YEARS OLD (Bentonville FF), SOOJUNG DREAMS OF FIJI (Audience Award, Asian American International FF), GHOST (Official Selection Just For Laughs), and F*CKING JAPANESE (Vulture critic’s pick, Best Comedy Short, Cinekink FF).

Soojeong is part of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective and has been supported by Yaddo. She is currently very healthy.
