Soojeong is an actor, writer, and director. She is a writer for the Netflix action-comedy series, THE BROTHERS SUN starring Michelle Yeoh. Her stories are funny and personal. You can see her act naturally in A GOOD PERSON opposite queen Florence Pugh, Netflix KALEIDOSCOPE, Apple TV+ SERVANT, and HBO Max SEARCH PARTY. She is the host of K-pop competition show, KPOPPED for Apple TV+. As a comedian, SJ has peformed her solo show CUM at Ars Nova and comedy theaters in NYC. Soojeong has written and directed award-winning films and sketch series including CECILIA IS ONLY EIGHT YEARS OLD (Bentonville FF), SOOJUNG DREAMS OF FIJI (Audience Award, Asian American International FF), GHOST (Official Selection Just For Laughs), and F*CKING JAPANESE (Vulture critic’s pick, Best Comedy Short, Cinekink FF). Soojeong is part of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective and has been supported by Yaddo. She is based in Brooklyn, NY.
